MEET RICK

Meet Rick A. Darrough, the heart and soul of RAD Builders. Hailing from the east coast, Rick left his hometown of Ripley, WV at a young age for the sunny beaches of Florida. With great success in the paving and concrete industry, Rick was ready to grow. He traded in the sand for snow-capped mountains, and made the exciting journey to Colorado. The beauty of the state’s front range is enough to inspire any man, and soon thereafter, Rick set his sights on general contracting. In 1980 RAD Builders was born.

As time’s gone on, Rick’s family has grown as much as much as his business. When he’s not transforming a finger-painting foundation into a Michelangelo addition, he enjoys visiting with his daughters, Erica and Jade. He especially loves playing with his granddaughter, Lyla, and his grandson, Sam.

When given the time, Rick loves to get out of Dodge and travel – anywhere & everywhere. The British Virgin Islands hold a special place in his heart. He’s sailed there a number of times and returns semi-regularly after obtaining his captain’s license.
