Shooting Star Lane Genesee Kitchen Remodel

The homeowners wanted a kitchen that felt open, dramatic, and worthy of the mountain setting, but the existing space was held back by low ceilings, limited storage, and a layout that felt closed in. The challenge was not just aesthetic, but structural.

RAD Builders reimagined the space by opening the ceiling from seven feet to a full vault, introducing exposed beams that added scale and character. Storage was expanded without visual clutter through custom cabinetry and a hidden pantry concealed behind tall cabinet doors. Careful coordination of structure, lighting, and mechanical systems ensured the space felt cohesive rather than overbuilt.

The finished kitchen feels expansive, functional, and visually connected to the rest of the home, while still supporting everyday use.
