The homeowners wanted their entryway to better reflect the architecture of the home, but the existing half wall and finishes felt heavy and out of place within the three story stairwell.
RAD Builders removed the original oak half wall and replaced it with a custom-built wall featuring curved interior and exterior corners and a rounded top, carefully matched to the home’s cylindrical forms. In the powder bath, plumbing was reworked to support a flat glass sink surface, turning a functional space into a subtle focal point.
These changes created a more cohesive and intentional arrival experience without overwhelming the existing architecture.
